Professional App for Soccer Enthusiasts

The DFB offers its members a very sophisticated, professional platform on the Internet and for mobile use with FUSSBALL.DE. Freely based on the DFB’s motto ‘Our amateurs. Real professionals,’ a visual concept for a high-performance solution with an appealing design and intuitive navigation was developed together with Arvato Systems as part of a relaunch. The task was clear: to set up, run, and continuously develop an attractive, functional, and informative platform.

Over the years, the design of the app has been continuously tweaked, a leading TV portal for live streams has been integrated, and current data protection requirements have been implemented with measures to optimize the privacy of young people. Community functions and the ability for users to upload their own pictures and videos are among the latest features. The enhanced live ticker (for scores, updates, etc.) means users can follow several amateur games as they happen. And thanks to new sharing features, soccer fans can post their pictures of the best shots on social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) automatically. 

FUSSBALL.DE is the DFB’s digital platform for German amateur soccer. It is dedicated exclusively to events from the Kreisliga (District League) to the Regionalliga (Regional League) on the Internet, in the app, and on three social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). The aim was to create a powerful app with simple, user-friendly menu navigation and high user acceptance.
