The Arvato Systems Management Team

Matthias Moeller is Chief Executive Officer of Arvato Systems.

After studying computer science and business administration, he joined Bertelsmann/Arvato in 1995, where he has held various roles. He has been a part of the senior management team for IT Services since 2003. From 2012 to the end of 2016, Matthias Moeller was CEO of Arvato Systems Perdata GmbH and, therefore, responsible for IT solutions and services for the utilities industry. As CEO of Arvato Systems, he has been responsible for the overall business of the Arvato Systems Group since April 1, 2016. On January 1, 2019, he additionally took on the role of CIO of Bertelsmann.

Within the Arvato Systems Executive Board, Frank Brinkmann is responsible for the areas of Transformation & Technology and Software Services & Global Delivery.

Frank Brinkmann's professional career began at Bertelsmann with his training as an IT merchant. After completing his studies in Paderborn, the business informatics graduate gained many years of experience in international projects as an SAP solution architect and project manager, particularly in the consumer goods, retail and logistics sectors. In parallel, he took on various management roles at Arvato Systems and shaped the development of the international SAP consulting locations. Until his move to the Executive Board, Frank Brinkmann was Vice President and Head of Consulting at Arvato Systems, where he headed the SAP Consulting division and was also responsible for the company's SAP portfolio.

Since January 1, 2022, Frank Brinkmann has held his current role as a member of the Arvato Systems Executive Board.

Klaus Fetzer is responsible for the Health and Public sectors on the Arvato Systems Executive Board.

After studying in Bamberg, Denmark and the USA and graduating in business administration, he began his career at the consulting firm MIT as a consultant for SAP implementation projects and processes. From 2002 onwards, Klaus Fetzer held national and international specialist and management positions in the RWE Group, where he was Head of Corporate Solutions at RWI IT until 2015. Subsequently, as Chief Information Officer (CIO), he became a member of the management team of the IT service provider regio IT, which specializes in particular in the area of municipalities and municipal companies. 

Klaus Fetzer has held his current role as a member of the Arvato Systems Executive Board since January 1, 2022.

Jochen Fuchs is Chief Human Resources Officer and Group General Counsel at Arvato Systems.

He is thus responsible for both Human Resources and Legal, Data Protection, Compliance and Corporate Responsibility. Jochen Fuchs joined Arvato Systems in 2006 as Legal Counsel. After studying law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn, he gained extensive experience in Germany and abroad, including at the Institute for European Media Law (EMR) and as an independent lawyer. At Arvato Systems, Jochen Fuchs has been responsible for legal affairs, compliance and data protection in his overarching role since 2012. As of August 1, 2021, he also assumed the role of CHRO.

Dr. Alexandra Heine is the Chief Financial Officer of Arvato Systems.

After her Master in Business Administration, Alexandra Heine started her career as a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. She helped clients from the technology and financial sectors with their strategic and organizational challenges. After completing her doctoral thesis at the Center for Logistics Management, in 2005, she joined Bertelsmann at the Corporate Controlling & Strategy department, where she held various management positions - most recently as Senior Vice President - in which she was involved in several Bertelsmann divisions.

Dr. Alexandra Heine has held her current role at Arvato Systems since September 2020.

Hansjörg Metzger is Managing Director of Arvato Systems GmbH and responsible for the Multi-Cloud & Infrastructure division.

After studying electrical engineering, Hansjörg Metzger started his professional career at Accenture, working intensively on infrastructure consulting and global transformation projects. Further career stages led him to various management positions at ThyssenKrupp IT Services and Capgemini before joining T-Systems International as Vice President. There he was responsible for the global delivery unit "Private Cloud & Platform Services".

Hansjörg Metzger took up his position as Managing Director of Arvato Systems GmbH on May 1, 2020.

As Chief Marketing Officer Marcus Metzner is responsible for the marketing, PR and communications issues of Arvato Systems.

Marcus is a trained journalist, graduate of the Ruhr University Bochum and holds an MA degree. He joined Bertelsmann in 2001 at broadcast software specialist Solutions for Media (part of RTL Group at that time) and moved to Arvato in 2011. Within his different positions at Bertelsmann Marcus continuously focused on marketing and communications issues in the IT sector. Before joining Bertelsmann Marcus was Head of Editorial Staff at different TV production- and marketing-agencies, working for all major German broadcasters as well as for different industry clients.

Olaf Steinbrink is responsible for the Industrial Mid-Caps and Utilities sectors on the Arvato Systems Executive Board.

After graduating from the University of Hildesheim, Steinbrink, who holds a degree in computer science, worked for the Bertelsmann Group from 2002 to 2015 in various roles, including Director of IT Management at Arvato IT Services and CIO of webmiles GmbH and DeutschlandCard GmbH. In 2015, Olaf Steinbrink moved to the energy provider EnBW as Head of Information Technology, where he was responsible for the B2C, B2B and third-market system landscape, among other things, before finally taking on the role of CIO at MVV Energie AG in 2018.

Olaf Steinbrink has held his current role as CEO of Arvato Systems Digital GmbH since January 1, 2022.

Ralf Westhoff is Managing Director of the Arvato Systems GmbH and responsible for the Consumer Products and Media sectors.

After studying business administration, Ralf Westhoff joined Bertelsmann in 1999, where he was employed in various commercial and strategic roles. In 2004, Ralf Westhoff took over responsibility for controlling Arvato's worldwide service businesses as VP Corporate Controlling and Consulting in the finance department of Arvato. Afterward, he worked as SVP Corporate Controlling and Strategy in the Central Controlling and Strategy department at Bertelsmann. In 2016, Ralf Westhoff joined Arvato Systems as CFO, where he has held his current role as Managing Director since September 2020.

Ralf Westhoff is married, has two children, and lives in Gütersloh.
