Our actions are clearly guided by the Bertelsmann Code of Conduct, a guideline that has been established for many years and which is binding for all employees. This Code of Conduct reflects our company's fundamental identity. We treat each other with mutual respect and trust and do not tolerate harassment or discrimination:

  • Every individual shall be treated fairly, respectfully and with dignity. We are committed to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities and encourage a respectful and tolerant workplace in which everyone’s unique value is recognized. Sexual harassment, discrimination, racism, bullying, abuse of power, intimidation, threats, or any other form of harassment are not tolerated.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

With the Agenda 2030 adopted in 2015, the international community, under the umbrella of the United Nations, has committed itself to 17 global goals for a better future. This includes economic, social, and ecological aspects. Agenda 2030 emphasizes the joint responsibility of all players: politics, business, science, civil society - and each individual. As a Bertelsmann company, Arvato Systems supports Agenda 2030, and with this in mind, we have labeled various topics on our website that contribute to these so-called "Sustainable Development Goals" (SDGs). Arvato Systems is part of the Bertelsmann Group. Reporting on corporate responsibility (CR) is thus included in the comprehensive information that Bertelsmann makes available across the Group. Since 2011, Bertelsmann's corporate responsibility reporting has followed the international guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the world's leading standard for sustainability reporting by international companies and organizations, and known since 2016 as the "GRI Standards.
