This session will show you how we leveraged Avalara's document APIs to build Avalara CertCapture capabilities for SAP Customer Cloud users (formerly known as Hybris) to extend their AvaTax integration for tax calculation. You'll also be shown how to set up and utilize the functionality of our new AvaTax connector.

Brian Gussiaas - Lead Software Developer
Brian is working for us as a lead developer. He is experienced in iterations of the Avalara AvaTax connector extension for SAP Commerce Cloud — the first integrate with Avalara AvaTax to get tax calculations, and the second integrates with Avalara CertCapture. Brian has worked with many of our customers to implement, customize, and support their e-commerce platforms for many years.
Juan Maldonado - Senior Project Manager
Juan is a senior project manager specializing in eCommerce and an Avalara Certified Implementation Partner. He eagerly supported the creation of the Avalara AvaTax connector by the Arvato Systems team. He works with our customers to help them customize and implement the connector into their existing systems. Juan has experience in diverse topics. After earning a master’s degree in game production and management from the University of Advancing Technology, he previously owned his own software development company.
