SPIE Netherlands' ERP Systems Run Efficiently in the Cloud

In order to manage the production environments of its IFS Applications, SPIE Netherlands was looking for a IT provider with proven experience and knowledge: Besides expertise in dealing with multi-cloud scenarios, the supplier had to go beyond a traditional role and work with SPIE as a partner. The goal of the project was to reliably provide the cloud infrastructure based on Microsoft Azure, including Technical Application Management, and thus ensure high availability of SPIE's IFS Product Suite.

The expertise of the multi-cloud service integrator Arvato Systems was needed to realize the project. Furthermore, the know-how and experience of Eqeep Benelux in cooperation with the ERP manufacturer IFS were also required. With these partners, SPIE Netherlands pursued its goals: to increase process efficiency and improve its performance. IFS Platinum Partner Eqeep Benelux supported SPIE Netherlands in the functional management of the IFS systems. The project started in September 2019. Arvato Systems was responsible for operating the necessary Managed Services for the IFS Product Suite based on Microsoft Azure and keeping it at the cutting edge of technology.

With Arvato Systems, SPIE can meet the targeted growth of its IT infrastructure without any problems using Microsoft Azure. In addition to the public cloud, Arvato Systems is also using various self-developed managed services to offer SPIE even greater efficiency and quality benefits by using the public cloud. The comprehensive partnership with Eqeep Benelux offers an integrated service package for the IFS Product Suite and the underlying infrastructure.
